I bought this a little early for autumn because I knew the colder weather was coming. It's actually a thicker jacket than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It feels properly warm without being awkward or too heavy to move around in. I've worn it on a couple of cooler evenings already and I'm very happy with it.

I thought a padded jacket this warm might feel a bit restrictive, especially when driving, but it doesn't. There's enough room through the shoulders and arms and I can sit comfortably with the seatbelt on. The green is a bit different from what I normally wear, but I really like it.

One thing I usually dislike about thicker jackets is how stiff they can feel around the neck when you sit down. This one is much more comfortable. The collar feels warm without getting in the way, and even though the jacket is quite substantial, it doesn't feel uncomfortable after wearing it for a while.
